Fibromyalgia – when the whole body is on fire

People with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) mostly suffer from pain all over their body, combined with an increased pain perception – especially in the tendon attachments and the entire musculature. Fibromyalgia attacks can often last for several days and during this time put those affected completely out of action. The next episode often starts after just two weeks. In addition come Exhaustion, difficulty concentrating and sleeping.

With this article I want you to be able to classify your complaints yourself and to check whether the symptoms mentioned below coincide with your own – because I can help!

So-called “soft tissue rheumatism”, as fibromyalgia was called earlier, was not recognized as a disease at the time and many of those affected were considered to be pensioners, slackers or simulators. Today there are several studies that show that fibromyalgia syndrome is actually a clinical picture with extreme psychological stress that significantly reduces the quality of life for many people.

“I just have pain everywhere”

If you suffer from FM yourself, you know that phrase all too well, right? Since the symptoms are influenced psychosomatically, they can manifest themselves in a wide variety of ways. Here is a small excerpt:
Exhaustion, tiredness and sleep disturbances in connection with thinking or memory disturbances,
Concentration disorders and headaches, muscle pain and weakness, restless legs syndrome, painful joints, depression and nervousness, itching, rash, sensitivity to the sun (especially in Spain)
Loss or change in your sense of taste
Tendency to develop more or more rapid bruises, irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, vomiting, heartburn and loss of appetite, chest pain and shortness of breath, fever, finger pain, dizziness and seizures, hearing impairment and tinnitus.

In conventional medicine, no clear cause of the development of fibromyalgia is known!

Those affected usually go from doctor to doctor and clinic to clinic – and get no result. The disease usually begins with back pain, which later develops into the symptoms mentioned above or into whole-body pain. Are you concerned? Do you want to change something? YOU are responsible for the pain you are in and you don’t have to be. Nowadays, NOBODY needs to be in pain anymore, the human genome has been deciphered! It is in our power to go the right way and change the wrong angles in which we move.
